Rings - Debbie Jeske - 2020

Inspiration: A typical “Double Wedding Ring” block contains a center melon, arcs, cornerstones, and background. My beemates had the freedom to blur or ignore the lines between any of those components, as long as the general feel of their block evoked the shape of a traditional block, and its ends pointed in opposite corners. Between y beemates’ creativity, the limited palette, and the finishing frame, Rings became something very recognizable, yet very unique.
