Poster Pop - Kari Voytechovsky

Inspiration: I prompted my Bee Sewcial beemates to use “Graphic Posters” as a launch point. I puzzled their individual blocks into this larger color-blocked composition, using quilting to extend the design elements from the blocks into the negative space. As I was finishing the quilting, my youngest child snipped into the quilt top. I chose to fix it with appliqué, making that a feature. I actually love wha the appliqué added and consider it a happy accident.
