Inspiration: The theme for Bubble was improv circles of all kinds with all the colours but no neutrals, in any size with or without backgrounds.The blocks received led to Bubble’s design. I knew immediately that I wanted to place that middle circle at the centre of the quilt and the rest of the layout came together with a lot of trial and error. This quilt has a faced binding and was intentionally washed and dried to add texture.
Quilting: Leanne Chahley - Industrial, modern, matchstick, hand-drawn lines using cotton thread and a long arm machine by me.
